About Searching for Sanity

"I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it"
Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dance with the Devil

Searching for Sanity is a window into the lives of Miss K and her slightly bent mother. (AKA wonderful little moi) No subject is too controversial for this single mum to wade into brandishing her invisible sword and I invite all of you to come along for the ride. There will be laughter, there will be tears, there will be the occasional temper tantrum (from both mother and daughter) as we try to navigate the jungle that is being a family.

In my writing I probably use too many big words, too many descriptions and too many parenthesis. (That's brackets for anyone playing at home.) I try to keep the curse words to a minimum just in case any young children stumble upon my blog, however that rule doesn't seem to apply in my own home. (Although now that Miss K repeats everything I shouldn't say I have to be more careful.) I tend to write the way I talk, as that is how the voices inside my head sound, so it makes it easier for my thoughts to flow from my brain onto the computer screen. I always welcome the thoughts of any of my readers, both in my comments area and on my Facebook page, as it is nice to know that my mum isn't the only one who reads my writing.

So stick around for a while, make yourself comfy and enjoy the show.
